Dr. Benjamin Solomon “Ben” Carson Sr. (September 18th, 1951 - ) is an African American neurosurgeon from Detroit, Michigan. He ran for presidency in 2016, but dropped out due to Donald Trump being more popular among the conservatives. Ben Carson still has done many great things as a neurosurgeon and has saved many lives. He is also a Seventh-Day Adventist who is very kind to people and animals alike.
On September 21, 2025, it was announced by Donald Trump during a speech at Mount Vernon that Ben Carson will be awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom, praising his medical and governmental contributions, with a White House ceremony scheduled the week after.
