Elizabeth "Liz" Kloepfer (born 1946) is the former girlfriend of American serial killer Ted Bundy who turned him in to Seattle police. She has a daughter named Lisa from a previous marriage.
In 1981, she published a book titled The Phantom Prince: My Life with Ted Bundy, under the name Elizabeth Kendall.
Relationship with Bundy[]
Kloepfer met Bundy at a bar in Seattle. They began dating and eventually she fell in love with him. At one point they got a marriage license, but Bundy tore it up in a rage.
In 1974, Kloepfer noticed Bundy acting strangely. This was around the time two women were raped and murdered. She reported him to Seattle police, but they didn't believe her.
Towards the end of their relationship, Bundy moved to Olympia to get a job. When he went there, more women began disappearing in Olympia. Kloepfer went to the police again, and this time they believed her. Bundy was executed.
