Jesse Lewis was a six-year-old boy from Sandy Hook, Connecticut who was credited for saving a number of his classmates from the Sandy Hook Elementary School Shooting on December 14, 2012, by telling his classmates to run when he noticed that the shooter was taking a moment to reload his gun. Jesse took the bullet for his classmates and died.
