Marcus Mark Grimmie (December 7, 1992-) is the older brother of the late singer Christina Grimmie. He played guitar on stage with Christina and worked as her tour manager. His courageous act is he fought against an armed man named Kevin James Loibl for shooting his sister.
History
On Friday June 10, 2016 at The Plaza Live, after Kevin Loibl shot Christina several times while she was signing autographs, Mark grappled him to prevent him from killing anyone else. Kevin managed to break free and then went against the wall where he shot himself in the head. Christina Grimmie was then rushed to the Orlando Regional Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead just before 11 pm. and buried in the Berlin Cemetery of her hometown. Mark attended a public memorial held in Medford, New Jersey.
On any social media, many people who were at the venue thanked Mark for his bravery in tackling a gunman.
