Peter Wang (November 9th, 2002 - February 14th, 2018) was a high school student. In February 2018, he was tragically shot and killed in a mass shooting at a high school in Parkland, Florida, while holding a door in the hallway open, allowing dozens of his classmates to escape. He also dreamed of becoming a soldier, and was also an active cadet in the Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC), and was posthumously accepted to the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.
