Ruben Sim (otherwise known Benjamin Robert Simon) is a male American Youtuber 28 years of age. He is most known for being a positive influence over the platforms Discord and Roblox. Him and a group known as RoCatchers[1] have been responsible for the termination of a currently unknown number[2] of Erotic RP accounts and Predator accounts on kids platform Roblox, along with the arrest of 5 predators. As of 22nd of June 2025, he is dealing with the highly controversial creator TheOfficialTeddy, known for creating infamous condo games. Despite being seen as a guardian to many, he has recieved harassment, framing and even death threats from the ERP and Furry communities (not the same in some cases) for his known hate of furries and unwavering dedication.
He was involved in a lawsuit of 1.6 million USD on November 23rd 2021 for joking about damaging and/or destroying Roblox HQ, where it was settled on 150K USD[3] and a permanent ban from the platform. Ruben remained inactive for at least 3 years before returning with a new motive, fixing what roblox couldn't. Since then, Ruben has gained support from creators such as Citizen[4], Schlep, CowCow, Bedsheet Ghost, JiDion[5], and at least 30+ game devs who opted out of The Hatch[6].
