Virginia Graham (Born December 10, 1932) is an American woman, who, with prison friend Ronnie Howard, exposed Susan Atkins and helped to expose the serial killer cult known as the Manson Family.
She was a cell mate of Susan Atkins on November 6, 1969, along with Ronnie Howard, when Atkins bragged to her about participating in the murders of Sharon Tate and four others. Initially, Graham disbelieved Atkins' story. But Howard believed her and tipped off law enforcement. Later remarks by Atkins convinced Graham that she was telling the truth. Horrified, Graham also reported Atkins to law enforcement. These tip-offs were the L.A. Police Department's first major break in the case. Both Howard and Graham testified in the 1971 trial of the Manson Family.
Following the trial of Charles Manson, in which she testified, Graham turned her back on crime and left California. She subsequently held jobs that included salon owner and art gallery manager.
